EAPD Certification Registration Form

For 2008, Chris will host three “Intro To EAPD” workshops – one in Ontario, one in Alberta and one in California, one EAPD 2 workshop in Ontario, and a Men’s Workshop at Riversong Ranch (see Events for dates and details.  Those registering for the EAPD 2 session are required to have received a certificate of completion from the Intro To EAPD workshop.  Each workshop is limited to 9 participants.  Horses will be provided for the practical hands-on work.  The fee of  $1000 per participant includes 4 days, 9 am to 5 pm daily, horses to work with, continental breakfast and lunch.  All equipment needed for the groundwork exercises will be provided as well.  Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the season, protective sunscreen if applicable, and hat and gloves for working with the horses outdoors.  A notebook will also come in handy.  Due to the personal nature of these workshops, they are closed to spectators.

Chris designed his EAPD curriculums to provide participants with a solid foundation of personal integrity with both horses and humans.  By learning to “walk your own talk” of balancing an equine mindset, both consciously and unconsciously, with our own human perspective, respect and appreciation for the symbiotic relationship that exists between the two species becomes self-evident.  A dynamic, cutting-edge repertoire of knowledge can them be presented with “ah ha!” results in many EAP fields – be it corporate leadership, personal coaching, family counseling, mental and physical health and healing, parenting, teaching, etc.

Although it is helpful, participants are not required to have working horsemanship experience or skills, but should have a familiarity and comfort level around horses.   Daily sessions will include theory, discussions and practical work with the horses.  Should you wish to bring a horse to be worked with at your session, please contact Anne Gage about the appropriateness of your horse in this setting.  If it is determined your horse would be a good fit for the workshop, please contact the host facility directly to set up your own stabling arrangements.

You may secure your space on the roster with a deposit of $400 via secure PayPal payment during online registration.  Session spaces will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis with deposits received.  If you prefer, you may send a personal check made out to HORSEPOWER PRODUCTIONS and mailed to the address below.  If you are not securing with an online PayPal payment during registration, please know that your space cannot be held until your checque has been received at the Horsepower office.  Simply calling or emailing your intention of participating does not ensure your space in the workshop.  Should your deposit be received and the workshop is full, Anne Gage will contact you and let you know you are on the wait list.  Your deposit will not be taken unless a space opens up for you.  The balance of your fee will be taken on the first day of the workshop, or may be paid online using the same registration form (completing only the main, required fields).  Should you prefer to pay the balance to Chris at the workshop itself, please contact Anne Gage so she can make such arrangements.  There is no direct billing.  In the case of cancellation, your deposit, less 10% handling fee, can only be refunded should a replacement be found to fill your space.  We thank you for your interest and look forward to your inclusion in the workshop!
